ACTION REQUESTED:
Request to Approve a Resolution in the Matter of Reviewing Wages and/or Benefits for Employees
BACKGROUND:
Often Collective Bargaining Agreements are not settled prior to the beginning of the year, nor are final
decisions made regarding all non-bargained compensation structures.
This Resolution allows the Board of County Commissioners the flexibility, at their discretion, to consider
and enact compensation issues that are still in progress as of 12/31/18 retroactively to January 1, as a form
of deferred compensation. This does not obligate the Board to do so under any circumstance.
