AGENDA DATE: December 18, 2018
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution to Classify and Designate
all Roads Serving Lannigan Springs Subdivision as being
Primitive Roads
BACKGROUND: Recently, the Board took action establishing public rights
of way for all roadways serving the Lannigan Springs
Subdivision. It is now necessary to designate all
subdivision roads as being Primitive — thus allowing Public
Works to define the level of maintenance for the roadways.
INTERACTION: Public Works
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution to Classify and Designate all
Lannigan Springs roadways as being "Primitive Roads".
HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works

RESOLUTION NO. 2018 -
CLASSIFY AND DESIGNATE °GLUM, WHITE, WINCH, BUENA VIEW AND
LANNIGAN SPRINGS ROAD(S)" WITHIN THE LANNIGAN SPRINGS SUBDIVISION
AS BEING "PRIMITIVE ROADS"
WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners recently established all
internal roadways serving Lannigan Springs Subdivision as public rights of way;
and
WHEREAS: Public Works now desires setting the discretionary maintenance for the Lannigan
Springs Subdivision roadway network; and
WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners may establish roads as
"Primitive" pursuant to Revised Code of Washington 36.75.300; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the
best interest of the public, does hereby classify and designate: "Lum, White, Winch, Buena
View and Lannigan Spring Roads" as being "Primitive" pursuant to RCW 36.75.300.
