AGENDA DATE: December 18, 2018
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution to Establish Right of
Ways for the Roadways within Lannigan Springs
Subdivision
BACKGROUND: Public Works acquired the land and roadways over the land
serving the Lannigan Springs subdivision via tax title sale.
The land now needs to be established as public rights of
way supporting the roadway network.
INTERACTION: Public Works
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution to establish the land supporting the
Lannigan Springs roadway network as public rights of way.
HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works

RESOLUTION NO. 2018 -
ESTABLISH LANNIGAN SPRINGS RIGHTS OF WAY
WHEREAS: Kittitas County Department of Public Works acquired the lands underlying the
roadway network serving Lannigan Springs subdivision pursuant to tax title sale;
and
WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners now directs the Department of Public
Works to incorporate the existing road network into the public road system; and
WHEREAS: A legal description of the various rights of way are attached to this resolution by
Exhibit; and
WHEREAS: The various roadways are currently known as: "Lum Road, White Road, Winch
Road and Lannigan Springs Road'; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the
best interest of the public, does hereby establish Lannigan Springs roadway rights of way
serving: Lum, White, Winch and Lannigan Spring Roads.

All those roads shown upon that certain Survey recorded in Book 2 of Surveys, Pages 6 to 10,
filed under Auditor's File No. 397916, records of Kittitas County Washington;
Said roads further described and delineated as Main Road, Easement A, Easement B,
Easement C, Easement D, and Easement E, on Page 10 of said Survey.
