Kittitas County <br />Solid Waste <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />12/18/2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Request Boards approval for Chairs signature on the Agreement with Belsaas and Smith Construction Inc. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On November 29, 2018 for the Bloom Pavilion Improvement project. After the review by the project <br />Architect it was determined that Belsaas and Smith Construction was the lowest responsive bidder. <br />On December 10, 2018 the Board of County Commissioners passed a Resolution 2018-202 Awarding the <br />base bid and Alternate 4, Fire Protection replacement and Alternate 5 Dust Control and directed staff to <br />bring back the contract for signature. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Prosecutors Office, ALSC Architects, and Belsaas and Smith. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Recommend Boards approval for the Chairs signature on the Agreement with Belsaas and Smith <br />Construction Inc. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br /> <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Patti Johnson <br />
