AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: December 18, 2018
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing the Amendment
of the Kittitas County Sheriff's Office Civil Fee Schedule.
BACKGROUND: The purpose of this proposed Amendment is to update the Kittitas
County Sheriff's Office's fee schedule. This schedule was last updated by Resolution
2017-150. The two changes proposed are for a required increase in the FBI fingerprint -
based background check fee (for CPL applications) from $12.00 to $13.25 effective
January 1, 2019, and an allowance for the Sheriff to waive fees for cause.
INTERACTION: This proposed Amendment has been reviewed and approved as to
form by the Kittitas County Prosecutor's Office.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing the
Amendment of the Kittitas County Sheriff s Office Civil Fee Schedule.
HANDLING: Please return one copy of the Resolution to the Sheriff s Office for our
records.
