KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF'S OFFICE <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: December 18, 2018 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing the Amendment <br />of the Kittitas County Sheriff's Office Civil Fee Schedule. <br />BACKGROUND: The purpose of this proposed Amendment is to update the Kittitas <br />County Sheriff's Office's fee schedule. This schedule was last updated by Resolution <br />2017-150. The two changes proposed are for a required increase in the FBI fingerprint - <br />based background check fee (for CPL applications) from $12.00 to $13.25 effective <br />January 1, 2019, and an allowance for the Sheriff to waive fees for cause. <br />INTERACTION: This proposed Amendment has been reviewed and approved as to <br />form by the Kittitas County Prosecutor's Office. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing the <br />Amendment of the Kittitas County Sheriff s Office Civil Fee Schedule. <br />HANDLING: Please return one copy of the Resolution to the Sheriff s Office for our <br />records. <br />LEAD STAFF: Kim Dawson <br />
