AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: December 18, 2018
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of an
Interlocal Agreement Between the City of Roslyn, Washington and the County of
Kittitas, Washington for the Housing of Inmates.
BACKGROUND: This Interlocal Agreement is between the City of Roslyn and Kittitas
County for the Housing of Inmates from January 1, 2019 – December 31, 2020. The
proposed daily rates are $64.50 in 2019 and $66.50 in 2020 (approximately a 3%
increase).
INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office has reviewed and approved
this Interlocal Agreement.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of an
Interlocal Agreement between the City of Roslyn, Washington and the County of Kittitas,
Washington for the housing of inmates.
HANDLING: Please return one fully executed original to KCSO, which we will
provide to the City for its records.
