AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: December 4, 2018
ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) approve and
sign Resolution amending Resolution 2018-172, awarding funding for
Homelessness and Affordable Housing Grant #HH-AH-2018-05-
Spurling Place; and sign Grant Agreement.
BACKGROUND: HopeSource applied for funding for the Spurling Place project. On
November 6, 2018 the BOCC signed Resolution No. 2018-172
implementing previously passed Resolution 2017-007 Awarding
funding up to $500,000 for Homelessness and Affordable Housing
Grant #HH-AH-2018-01-Spurling Place.
INTERACTION: HopeSource’s legal representative requested changes to the language
in the Resolution. Kittitas County’s Deputy Prosecuting Attorney
made adjustments to the Resolution.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve and sign Resolution amending Resolution 2018-172,
awarding funding for Homelessness and Affordable Housing Grant
#HH-AH-2018-05-Spurling Place, and to sign a Grant Agreement
between Kittitas County and HopeSource.
