KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: December 4, 2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of Amended Interlocal Agreement #K9561(5) between the Washington State Department of Corrections and the County <br />of Kittitas, Washington for the Housing of Inmates. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: This is an Amendment to the existing Interlocal Agreement between the Washington State Department of Corrections and Kittitas County for the Housing of Inmates from January <br />1, 2019 – December 31, 2020. The proposed daily rates are $65.56 in 2019 and $67.53 in 2020 (approximately a 3% increase). <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office has reviewed and approved this Interlocal Agreement. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of Amended Interlocal Agreement #K9561(5) between the Washington State Department of Corrections and the County <br />of Kittitas, Washington for the Housing of Inmates. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Please return one fully executed original to KCSO, which we will provide to the State for its records. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Undersheriff Clay Myers <br /> <br />
