AGENDA DATE: December 4, 2018
ACTION REQUESTED: Requesting Approval of a Resolution Stating Intent to Adopt Shoreline Master
Program Amendments and Authorizing Submittal of Proposed Amendments to
Washington State Department of Ecology
BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on
November 20, 2018 to consider proposed amendments to the Kittitas County
Shoreline Master Program. After deliberations, the Board unanimously approved
the proposed amendments, and directed staff to prepare enabling documents.
The attached resolution would adopt the amendments and direct staff to submit
the amendments to Washington State Department of Ecology for final approval.
INTERACTION: Community Development Services, Prosecuting Attorney, and Board of County
Commissioners.
RECOMMENDATION: Approval of the attached resolution.
