AGENDA DATE: December 4, 2018
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to set a Public Hearing for December 18, 2018 at
2pm local time to consider the Vacation of a Portion of the
Alley in Block 15 of South Addition — Roslyn, WA.
BACKGROUND: An adjoining property owner is requesting to vacate a
portion of the alley serving Block 15 of South Addition in
Roslyn, WA. Currently, the alley is serving Lots 1, 2, 18
and 19 of the plat and the portion of the alley that is being
requested for vacation provides no parcel access and will
not impact the four lots in the area. The County Surveyor
is recommending a record of survey be filed to capture the
vacation if the vacation is approved since county road files
currently have no method to show alleys. The estimated
cost to file the survey is approximately one thousand
dollars ($1,000).
INTERACTION: Public Works
RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing for December 18, 2018 at 2pm local
time to consider the Vacation of a Portion of the Alley in
Block 15 of South Addition — Roslyn, WA.
HANDLING: Return one (1) copy to Public Works

Auditorium, 205 West 5th Avenue, Room 109, Kittitas County Courthouse, Ellensburg, WA to consider the Vacation of a
Portion of the Alley in Block 15 of South Addition - Roslyn, Washington.
