KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />December 4, 2018 <br />Request to Set a Public Hearing to consider the <br />adoption of the Six Year Transportation <br />Improvement Program for the Years 2019-2024 and <br />the Annual Construction Program for 2019. <br />BACKGROUND: Public Works has prepared a Six Year <br />Transportation Improvement Program for 2019- <br />2024 and an Annual Construction Program for <br />2019. <br />Two open houses have been held on November 6, <br />2018 in Upper County and one on November 7, <br />2018 in Lower County to receive public input and <br />comments regarding said plans. No changes to <br />staffs proposals are necessary based on public <br />comment that was received. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing on December 18, 2018 at 2pm <br />local time to consider adopting the Six Year <br />Transportation Program for the Years 2019-2024 <br />and the Annual Construction Program for 2019. <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Notice of Public Hearing; Draft Six Year <br />Transportation Improvement Plan and Draft 2019 <br />Annual Construction Program <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark Cook <br />Director of Public Works <br />
