Kittitas County <br />Public Health Department <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />December 4, 2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Public Health Administrator <br />on the Law and Justice Grant Agreement. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Law and Justice Grant Agreement for 2019 awards the Kittitas County Public Health <br />Department $1000.00 towards Childhood Injury Prevention. The funds will be available January <br />1, 2019 and allocated as follows: <br /> $750.00 for car safety equipment <br /> $25.00 outreach and education <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office: Reviewed and approved October 22, 2018 <br />Kittitas County Auditor’s Office: Reviewed and approved November 2, 2018 <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Public Health Administrator <br />on the Law and Justice Grant Agreement. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br />N/A <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Kasey Knutson <br />
