<br />TO A WARD THE BID TO FURNISH SNOW & ICE CONTROL PRODUCTS FOR 2019
<br />AND AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO SIGN CONTRACT
<br />DOCUMENTS
<br />WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was approved and signed on October 16, 2018 , to furnish Snow
<br />& Ice Control Products for 2019; and
<br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on November 1, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. in the office of Kittitas
<br />County Public Works and three (3) bids were received; and
<br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends thatthe responsible bid of Envirotech
<br />Services Inc . for Item #1 -Corrosion Inhibited Liquid Magnesium Chloride; for Item #2
<br />-Corrosion Inhibited Liquid Calcium Chloride and for Item #3 -Corrosion Inhibited
<br />Solid Sodium Chloride; the responsible bid of Rankin Products, LLC for Item #4 -Non
<br />Corrosion Inhibited Solid Sodium Chloride; and the responsible bid of Roadwise, Inc. for
<br />Item #5 -RoadSaver -Soil Stabil izer; be accepted for Snow & Ice Control Products for
<br />2019 ;and
<br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best interest
<br />of the public, does hereby award the bid for 2019 Snow & Ice Control Products to Envirotech Services
<br />Inc. for Item # 1 -Corrosion Inhibited Liquid Magnesium Chloride; for Item #2 -Corrosion Inhibited
<br />Liquid Calcium Chloride and for Item #3 -Corrosion Inhibited Solid Sodium Chloride; the responsible
<br />bid of Rankin Products, LLC for Item #4 -Non Corrosion Inhibited Solid Sodium Chloride; and the
<br />responsible bid of Roadwise, Inc. for Item #5 -Road Saver -Soil Stabilizer, upon such terms and
<br />conditions as specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s); and
<br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is authorized to sign the contract
<br />documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s).
