ACTION REQUESTED:
Request Board Signature on the Professional Service Agreement with Clean Harbors Environmental
Services.
BACKGROUND:
Kittitas County Solid Waste maintains septage lagoons at the Ryegrass facility. Per our permit the lagoons
are cleaned and the biosolids are land applied on the Ryegrass permitted fields.
The Solid Waste Department worked off of the small works rooster to find qualified contractors to perform
the necessary land applications. Clean Harbors was the lowest responsive contractor to perform the work
needed.
INTERACTION:
Prosecutor, Risk Management and Clean Harbors.
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommend Boards signature on the professional service agreement.
