Ruby St., Suite 2, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />CDS@CO.KITTITAS.WA.US <br />Office (509) 962-7506 <br />Fax (509) 962-7682 <br /> <br />“Building Partnerships – Building Communities” <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: November 6, 2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set Public Hearing for 2018 Annual Docket Amendments to <br />Kittitas County Comprehensive Plan and County Code <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: CDS staff is requesting to set a public hearing on December 4th at 6:00pm in the <br />BOCC Auditorium for consideration of proposed amendments to Kittitas County <br />Comprehensive Plan and County Code through the annual “Docket” process. The <br />County accepted citizen amendment requests through June 30, 2018 (June 29th was <br />the last business day) for consideration by the Kittitas County Planning Commission <br />and the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners. The amendments must be <br />consistent with the Growth Management Act and other applicable state laws, <br />applicable countywide planning policies, and the goals, policies, and objectives of the <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br /> The Kittitas County Planning Commission considered the changes at a public hearing <br />on October 23, 2018. A staff report containing staff recommendations and the <br />Planning Commission recommendations along with the docket items will be provided <br />prior to the public hearing.
