<br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: November 6, 2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request Board signature on Notice of Approval to Hear Property Tax <br />Appeals by Kittitas County Legislative Authority. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Assessor certified the Kittitas County Tax Rolls on October 5, <br />2018 and delivered the Certification to the Board of Equalization <br />Clerk. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: After a 14 day waiting period, there is a 28 day period for the Board <br />of Equalization (BOE) to hear property appeals. This year there were <br />139 appeals submitted to the BOE. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve and sign Department of Revenue form REV 64 0049 to <br />allow the BOE to continue to hear property tax appeals outside of the <br />28 day period. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Original – Clerk of the Board <br /> Copy - LTAC Clerk <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: REV 64 0049 <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Debbie Myers, BOE Clerk <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
