KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: November 6, 2018 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution to Ratify the Director of <br />Public Works Signature Authorizing Additional Payment <br />on Kittitas Conservation District CWPP Final Invoice <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Board of County Commissioners entered into an <br />interlocal agreement with Kittitas County Conservation <br />District (KCCD) (Resolution 2017-200) for producing the <br />2018 update to the County Wildfire Protection Plan. The <br />authorized expense for service was $20,000. During final <br />stakeholder review and comment, KCCD encumbered <br />project expense in excess of the approved $20,000. The <br />additional amount for service is $2,260.61. The Director of <br />Public Works recently authorized payment of the overage <br />and is seeking Board ratification of the action. <br />INTERACTION: <br />Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Ratify the Director's signature on KCCD invoice for <br />producing the 2018 CWPP update. <br />HANDLING: <br />Return one original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Resolution <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Mark R.
