KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: October 16, 2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing to Consider a Family Fair <br />Package Discount Rate <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Fair Board would like to offer for presale a <br />Family Fair Package for the 2019 Fair. On October 4, 2018, <br />they unanimously voted to approve the following <br />recommendation. <br /> <br />The Proposed Family Package would include four (4) General <br />Admission Day Passes, two (2) Pay One Price Ride Vouchers, <br />and one (1) Daily Parking Pass. The retail value of this package <br />is $120. The Presale package rate would be $90. <br /> <br />The Fair Board’s marketing plan includes offering vouchers for <br />the Family Fair Package during Moments to Remember and <br />throughout the holiday season. Only 100 packages will be <br />available for purchase. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: A Public Hearing must be held to consider the discount rate for <br />the 2019 Family Fair Package. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing to consider the 2019 Family Fair Package <br />discount rate to be held on Tuesday, November 6th, 2018 at 2:00 <br />p.m. in the Commissioners Auditorium, 205 West 5th Avenue, <br />Ellensburg, WA 98926. <br /> <br />HANDLING: 1 – Clerk of the Board <br /> <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Notice of Public Hearing <br /> <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Lisa Young, Interim Event Center Director <br /> <br />
