AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: October 16, 2018
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of
Department of the Army License for YTC (Yakima Training Center) Military Installation
and between Yakima County and Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office.
BACKGROUND: The Secretary of the Army or duly authorized representative of the
Secretary hereby grants Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office a non-exclusive license for use
of lands at the Yakima Training Center Military Reservation for law enforcement training
as described in the license document. Our most recent license for these same activities
expired on June 30, 2018. There is no cost.
INTERACTION: This agreement was reviewed and approved by the Kittitas County
Prosecutor’s Office.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing Execution of
Department of the Army License YTC (Yakima Training Center) Military Installation
and between Yakima County and Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office.
HANDLING: Please return two signed originals to the Sheriff’s Office. The Sheriff’s
Office will return one signed original to the BOCC once it is received back from the
Army.
