BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHING TON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2018 -/ 5"q <br />EXTENDING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR AS INTERIM COUNTY ROAD <br />ENGINEER FOR AN ADDITIONAL SIX MONTHS ENDING MAY 23, 2019 <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners appointed the Public Works Director as <br />Interim County Road Engineer pursuant to Resolution 2018-066; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works has begun the solicitation process for hiring a County Road <br />Engineer; and <br />WHEREAS: The hiring process will likely exceed the date established (11-23-2018) by the <br />Board (Resolution 2018-066) for hiring a full time replacement County Road <br />Engineer; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby extend the Public Works Director as Interim County <br />Engineer for an additional period of six months ending on May 23, 2019. <br />DATED this 2nd day of October, 2018, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS UNTY, WASHINGTON
