Aspect
CO N SU LT I N G
Contract Change
Contract No.: 16 / Project No.: 150338 I Date: April 16, 2018
Client: Kittitas County
Project Name: Consumptive Use Pilot Study
Description of Work Cost
Aspect Consulting, LLC (Aspect) understands that Kittitas County and
Patrick Deneen are partnering on a pilot study to quantitatively determine
the percent of consumptive use associated with indoor-only domestic use.
The results of the study will be used to determine the efficacy of alternative
mitigation strategies in subbasins currently without suitable mitigation
options (e.g., yellow and red zones). We understand that the parties have
requested Aspect provide oversight during design, implementation, and
reporting of the study results.
These services will be
provided on a Time and
Materials basis.
Based on this understanding, Aspect will complete the following tasks:
Task 1 -Preparation and Presentation to WTWG. Under this task,
Aspect will prepare all materials and present the basis of the pilot-study to
the Yakima Basin Water Transfer Working Group (WTWG). We will use
the ex isting materials as the basis for the presentation .
We under tan d the group would lik e to pre sent at the May 7th WTW G
mee ting. r q uiring submittal for draft materials by May 30th • Wed · not
expect an official endorsement from the group, but rather a facilitated
discussion to get feedback and general agreement on the pilot study
concept and methodology .
Task 2 -Pilot Study Methodology Design. Using the existing narrative
and feedback from the WTWG , Aspect will develop a basis for design.
The design will not only include the physical requirements of the pilot
study (meters, membrane bioreactor, cisterns), but also the approach,
including necessary measures for quality assurance and control.
We anticipate facilitating one meeting with key basin stakeholders
Yakama Nation, WDFW , Ecology) to review and discuss design details,
including proper site-specific siting of the drain fields and supplemental
cisterns . Proper siting will be important to ensure all potential tributary (i.e .
Fowler Creek) impacts are mitigated.
Bainbridge Island Office :
Bellingham Office:
Bend Office:
Seattle Office:
Portland Office:
Wenatchee Office:
Yakima Office:
350 Madison Avenue North, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110
907 Harris Avenue , Suite 301, Bellingham, WA 98225
1725 SW Chandler, Suite 102, Bend, OR 97702
401 Second Avenue S, Suite 201, Seattle, WA 98104
522 SW Fifth Avenue, Suite 301, Portland, OR 97204
23 South Mission Avenue, Suite C, Wenatchee, WA 98801
123 East Yakima Avenue, Suite 200, Yakima, WA 98901
www.aspectconsulting.com
Task 1: $2,000
Task 2: $3,500
206) 780-9370
360) 746-8964
971) 865-5896
206) 328-7443
971) 865-5890
509) 888-5766
509) 895-5957
