BOWERS FIELD JOINT OPERATINDEPTOF PiJBLIC WORKS
AGREEMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE
This shall be defined as a four member committee representing Kittitas County
selected by the Board of County Commissioners to evaluate issues and determine
if a recommendation is appropriate to alter the current management structure at
Bowers Field.
Application for membership shall include the following information and be

What experience do you have with general aviation airports?
I have demonstrated my knowledge with problems and possible
solutions in my letter to Kittitas County Commissioners, dated
June 26, 2018.
3. Please describe your experience working with small groups resolving
regional issues.
Before semi -retirement I worked 34 years for Natural Resources Conservation Service.
As a Soil Scientist -Project Leader for the Palouse Target Area Study, I worked with small
groups to describe and predict distribution of key features. This study was a regional
study and the purpose was to identify the nature of current erosion and other critical soil
characteristics, management practices and productivity in the Palouse Target Area. I
also worked with small groups to resolve data issues for NRCS data base and soil survey
manuscri ts.
. Please detail your business planning experience.
I have a small business called Gentry Consulting which has
given me planning experience, such as evaluation of project
cost, time frame to complete job, feasibility, pertaining laws,
investigations and developing a report. Consulting jobs
include, geoarchaeological investigations, wetland
delineations, soil investigation, photography and
paleopedology.

6. Why would you be a good resource for serving on the Bowers Field
JOAAC?
I have demonstrated my knowledge with problems and possible
solutions in my letter to Kittitas County Commissioners, June 26, 2018.
7. Are you available for bi-weekly meetings for approximately six (6) months?
