BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2016-III <br />RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE EXECUTION OF A LEASE AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN KITTITAS COUNTY AND THE KITTITAS COUNTY COMMUNITY <br />NETWORK <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County, through the Kittitas County Public ~ealth Department, is charged <br />with the preservation, promotion, and improvement of health in the County; and <br />WHEREAS, the preservation, promotion, and improvement of health includes substance abuse <br />and injury prevention; and <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Community Network is committed to providing services <br />related to substance abuse and injury prevention; and <br />WHEREAS, the Kittitas County Community Network is in need of office space to continue to <br />provide these services; and <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County has unused space in the Sorensen Building available to rent to the <br />Kittitas Community Network in exchange for the public benefit they provide; <br />annual rent valued at $1,746) and . <br />WHEREAS, the Parties desire to enter a lease agreement to carry out these shared objectives <br />and agree to the terms provided in the lease agreement that is attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein by reference; and <br />WHEREAS, budget and accounting considerations have been reviewed by the appropriate <br />departments and procedures put into place to properly track the space-benefit <br />exchange; and . <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas <br />County, Washington, hereby authorizes execution ofa lease agreement with the <br />Kittitas County Community Network that is attached hereto, and incorporated <br />herein by reference. <br />DATED th is J-t"fh d&yof YXc..e4rl.
