ACTION REQUESTED: Requesting Chairman’s Signature on Washington State Recreation and
Conservation Office Resolution/Authorization Form for Hairpin Ranch
Conservation Easement
BACKGROUND: At the June 11, 2018 CDS Study Session, the Board of Commissioners agreed to be a
co-grantee/co-holder of a conservation easement for Hairpin Ranch on Rader Road.
On July 17, 2018, the Board authorized the Chair’s signature on the grant application
for the conservation easement. The attached form is required by the Washington
State Recreation and Conservation Office in order for the county to sign on as the co -
holder of the easement. The form certifies that any entity that has an interest in the
property will conform to grant requirements. The form has received legal review.
