KITTITAS COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS
UPPER COUNTY TRAFFIC TASK FORCE GROUP
This shall be defined as a twelve member group consisting of two residents
from the Westside/Nelson Siding area, two residents from Upper Peoh Point/Thorp
Prairie area, two upper county business owners, one representative from the
Sheriff's Office, one representative from the City of Cle Elum, one representative
from the City of South Cle Elum, one representative from the City of Roslyn, one
representative from Public Works (Director) and one representative from
Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT).

3. What interests you most about becoming a member of the Upper County
Traffic Task Group? --
To work with neighboring Kittitas County citizens toward minimizing a problem that is
quickly growing. If unchecked, the problem will only continue to worsen. As a group, we
need to put forth potential solutions, put a cost on each and then prioritize the list.
4. We will need to develop solutions and coordinate actions with multiple
agencies. Have you worked in a team environment in the past? If so, please
elaborate . ~
5. Can you be fair and unbiased when it comes to selecting solutions to the
issue of traffic?
2011-2015 -Kittitas County Civil Service Commission -Chairman l.ast 2 years
2015-present -Washington State Parks Winter Recreation Advisory Council.
2010 -present -Kittitas County Snowmobile Grooming Council
2010-Present -Kittitas County Search and Rescue -ORV Team Leader
1975-2004 -Police Officer thru ranks to Being a Commander of Detectives, Records,
and Evidence with the Renton Police Dept. -Many meetings, budgeting and grant
writing duties.
1977-Present -Many Offices held in a large Police Fatemal Organization that has over
17,000 members in 26 countries.
