<br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: August 21, 2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request Board signature on Resolution Amending Interlocal <br />Agreement between Kittitas County and the Cities of Ellensburg, <br />Roslyn, and Cle Elum for a Consolidated Lodging Tax Grant Process <br />regarding coordinated Funding of 13% from each municipality. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The municipalities of Ellensburg, Roslyn, Cle Elum and Kittitas <br />County entered into an Interlocal Agreement for a Consolidated <br />Lodging Tax Grant Process in 2014 to streamline the grant process. <br />In 2016 an amendment was added to address grant reimbursements <br />and disputes. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The cities of Roslyn, Cle Elum, and Ellensburg have all signed a <br />second Amendment to the Interlocal Agreement regarding <br />Coordinated funding of 13% of their annual lodging tax collections to <br />be made available and awarded through the consolidated grant <br />process. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request the BOCC sign the Resolution and Amendment to the <br />Interlocal Agreement between Kittitas County and the Cities of <br />Ellensburg, Roslyn, and Cle Elum for A Consolidated Lodging Tax <br />Grant Process regarding Coordinated Funding of 13% from each <br />municipality. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Original – Clerk of the Board <br /> Copy - LTAC Clerk <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Interlocal Agreement <br /> Amendment to Interlocal (1) <br /> Amendment to Interlocal (2) <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Debbie Myers, Clerk, for Laura Osiadacz <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
