AGENDA DATE: August 13, 2018
ACTION REQUESTED: Consider the appointments of Dave Ratcliff, Ron
Mitchell & Greg Schwab to the Kittitas County
Airport Advisory Committee.
BACKGROUND: June 11, 2018 the Board of County Commissioners
adopted new Bylaws of the Kittitas County Airport
Advisory Committee, which added one FBO’s
(limited) to the Committee and one General
Aviation Pilot.
Note there are currently 3 vacancies.
INTERACTION: On August 13, 2018 Staff received letters from the
Clerk of the Airport Advisory Committee on behalf
of the Committee in support of Dave Ratcliff as the
General Aviation Pilot Representative; Ron
Mitchell as the one of the two Limited FBO
Positions and the second Limited FBO Position
appointing Greg Schwab.
RECOMMENDATION: Appoint Dave Ratcliff as the General Aviation Pilot
for a 3 year term effective immediately and to
expire on 12/31/2020 (beginning mid-year).
Appoint Ron Mitchell as one of the Limited FBO’s
(1) for a two year term effective immediately and to
expire on 12/31/2019 (beginning mid-year).
Appoint Greg Schwab as the second Limited FBO’s
(2) for a one year term effective immediately and to
expire on 12/31/2018 (beginning mid-year).
HANDLING: Staff to notify the Applicants and Kittitas County
Airport Advisory Committee Clerk of the Boards
action.
Staff to update County Website.
