KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: August 13, 2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Consider the appointments of Dave Ratcliff, Ron <br />Mitchell & Greg Schwab to the Kittitas County <br />Airport Advisory Committee. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: June 11, 2018 the Board of County Commissioners <br />adopted new Bylaws of the Kittitas County Airport <br />Advisory Committee, which added one FBO’s <br />(limited) to the Committee and one General <br />Aviation Pilot. <br /> <br /> Note there are currently 3 vacancies. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: On August 13, 2018 Staff received letters from the <br />Clerk of the Airport Advisory Committee on behalf <br />of the Committee in support of Dave Ratcliff as the <br />General Aviation Pilot Representative; Ron <br />Mitchell as the one of the two Limited FBO <br />Positions and the second Limited FBO Position <br />appointing Greg Schwab. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Appoint Dave Ratcliff as the General Aviation Pilot <br />for a 3 year term effective immediately and to <br />expire on 12/31/2020 (beginning mid-year). <br /> <br /> Appoint Ron Mitchell as one of the Limited FBO’s <br />(1) for a two year term effective immediately and to <br />expire on 12/31/2019 (beginning mid-year). <br /> <br /> Appoint Greg Schwab as the second Limited FBO’s <br />(2) for a one year term effective immediately and to <br />expire on 12/31/2018 (beginning mid-year). <br /> <br />HANDLING: Staff to notify the Applicants and Kittitas County <br />Airport Advisory Committee Clerk of the Boards <br />action. <br /> <br /> Staff to update County Website.
