ACTION REQUESTED:
The Board of County Commissioners’ authorizes the Kittitas County Public Health Interim
Administrator’s signature on the Sub-Contract between the Yakima Neighborhood Health
Services and Kittitas County Public Health Department. (Effective Dates: July 1, 2018- June 30,
2019)
BACKGROUND:
The sub-contract extends the term of the contract between YNHS and the Health Benefit
Exchange to the sub-contractor. The period of performance shall continue through June 30, 2019
and allows the health department to continue to enroll Kittitas County resident in the Washington
Healthplanfinder and continue reporting monthly outreach activities to contractor.

Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office: Reviewed and approved on July 25, 2018.
Kittitas County Auditor’s Office: Reviewed and approved on August 10, 2018.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Board of County Commissioners’ authorizes the Kittitas County Public Health Interim
Administrator’s signature on the Sub-Contract between the Yakima Neighborhood Health
Services and Kittitas County Public Health Department. (Effective Dates: July 1, 2018- June 30,
2019)
