Home My WebLink AboutRes-2018-126 Culvert ReplacementBOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF KITTITAS STATE OF WASHINGTON RESOLUTION NO. 2018 -I 2 ltJ AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON THE LOCAL AGENCY FEDERAL AID PROJECT PROSPECTUS FOR THE KACHESS LAKE ROAD CULVERT REPLACEMENT PROJECT WHEREAS: The Kachess Lake Road Culvert Replacement project will replace an undersized culvert on Kachess Lake Road with a larger structure designed to meet current hydraulic demand as well as fish passage requirements; and WHEREAS: Public Works received Surface Transportation Block Grant (STBG) federal funds in the amount of $69,200 for the Preliminary Engineering phase of this project; and WHEREAS: In preparation to commence design work, Public Works is requesting the Washington State Department of Transportation to release the federal funds for Preliminary Engineering; and WHEREAS: A Local Agency Federal Aid Project Prospectus must be executed by the Chair acknowledging the project has been reviewed and is consistent with the agency's comprehensive plan for community development; and NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best interest of the public, does hereby approve the Chair's signature on the Local Agency Federal Aid Project Prospectus for the Kachess Lake Road Culvert Replacement Project DATED on this 7th day of August, 2018, at Ellensburg, Washington.
