AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: August 7, 2018
ACTION REQUESTED: Request Boards Signature on a Professional Service Agreement with
ALSC Architects.
BACKGROUND: The Board of County Commissioners received a grant from the
Department of Agriculture to make improvements to the Bloom
Pavilion at the Event Center. The improvements are the first step
toward improvements recommended in the Event Center Master plan.
The County has been working with ALSC on a larger Barns and
Bloom design project since December 2016.
This agreement will allow ALSC Architect to complete the
engineering, design, bid documents and provide for inspections
during construction of the Heating, Ventilation, and Footing
improvements to Bloom Pavilion.
INTERACTION: The Prosecutors office has reviewed the Professional Service
agreement.
RECOMMENDATION: Recommend Boards signature on the Professional Service Agreement.
