Heather Seibert
From: Gwenn Huson <gwenn.huson@crossmatch.com>
Sent: Thursday, June 07, 2018 3:12 PM
To: Paula Hoctor
Subject: RE: Kittitas County Question
Paula,
The small labor fee with maintenance might be $400.00. This covers:
Crossmatch Customer Care Livescan Labor Fees
Due to changes in the livescan software mandated by the Receiving Agencies (OPM, FDLE, etc.) and the many software
configuration touch points, the LSMS software is not self -configurable by our livescan customers. The labor fee for in -
maintenance customers includes the management, installation, configuration, and testing services that are delivered
from the Crossmatch Customer Care team. Each Crossmatch livescan system is required to be installed, configured, and
tested by a Crossmatch certified field engineer or certified partner to ensure conformity to the Receiving Agency and FBI
specifications. Each Receiving Agency requires that the livescan system and its electronic submissions conform to their
specific standards and each agency requires the Crossmatch certified installer to test each livescan, obtain agency
approval, then place the livescan into production mode. Adherence to this process results in conformity to agency
specifications and greatly reduces the costs of resubmitting fingerprint records due to potential rejections.
Regards,
Gwenn
From: Paula Hoctor <Paula.hoctor@co.l<ittitas.wa.us>
Sent: Wednesday, June 06, 2018 12:08 PM
To: Gwenn Huson <Gwenn.Huson@CrossMatch.com>
Subject: Kittitas County Question
Gwenn,
In the maintenance contract it states, "Software upgrades can be costly. Customers with Maintenance Contracts do not pay
for Crossmatch Software
upgrades, only a small labor fee. Avoid $1100 fee for upgraded software." Can you please tell me what the, "only a small labor
fee," means?
Thank you,
Paula Hoctor
Kittitas County
Notice: Email sent to Kittitas County may be subject to public disclosure as required by law.
message id: 38eb45916c6dcbdac24bb8719d004a14
This message, including any attachments, may contain confidential, proprietary, Inside and/or legally privileged information.
