ACTION REQUESTED: Requesting Chairman’s Signature on Entity Application for Hairpin Ranch
Conservation Easement
BACKGROUND: At the June 11, 2018 CDS Study Session, the Board of Commissioners agreed to be a
co-grantee/co-holder of a conservation easement for Hairpin Ranch on Rader Road.
At the July 9, 2017 CDS Study Session, the Board reviewed the grant application for
the conservation easement and had questions regarding the application. A corrected
grant application has been provided, and a representative from Forterra will be
present to answer questions at the Board’s Agenda Study Session on July 16, 2018.
