TO AUTHORIZE THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO AUTHORIZE A
NOTICE OF CALL FOR BIDS FOR THE UNIVERSITY WAY BRIDGE #88341
REPAIR PROJECT
WHEREAS: The University Way bridge over the BNSF railroad tracks is in need of
repair; and
WHEREAS: Public Works has advanced the bridge repairs in conformance with section
two of Resolution 2017-058; and
WHEREAS: The plans and specifications for the University Way Bridge are complete;
and
WHEREAS: This Construction Project is included on the Six Year Transportation
Improvement Plan and the Annual Construction Plan; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in
the best interest of the public, does hereby direct the Director of Public
Works to prepare a Notice of Contractors for a call for bids; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that bids will be received until 10:00 am on Tuesday,
July 26th , 2018 at the office of the Department of Public Works, 411 North
Ruby Street, Suite 1, Ellensburg, Washington to be publicly read aloud
after 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 26t\ 2 0 18 in the Depattment of Public
Works, Ellensburg, Washington.
