AGENDA DATE: July 3, 2018
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve Rental Agreement between Kittitas
County Sheriff’s Office and Central Storage.
BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office has worked with Central Storage
and currently has units rented with them. However, due to an increasing need for secure
evidence storage as well as general storage for the Office, an additional space is
necessary. This agreement provides an additional 1,620 s.f. of space (unit #7403). Once
our current storage needs are addressed we will evaluate the need for further storage
space at the Administrative office location.
Funds for this expenditure will come from within the existing KCSO budget.
INTERACTION: This professional services agreement was reviewed and approved by
the Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve Rental Agreement between Kittitas
County Sheriff’s Office and Central Storage.
HANDLING: Please return two sets of signed originals to Kittitas County Sheriff’s
Office. We will have the vendor sign both original sets and return one to the BOCC for
County records.
