MEETING DATE: July 3, 2018
ACTION REQUESTED: Sign Burn Ban Resolution implementing the burn ban in the areas listed below.
BACKGROUND: The decreasing fuel moisture content of 10, 100 and 1,000 hour fuels, as well as the
weather forecast of dry weather necessitates the implementation of the burn ban.
The burn ban was placed into effect June 29, 2018 at 11:59 p.m.
INTERACTION: Fire Marshal, Eric Trygstad and Kittitas County Fire Chief’s Association
RECOMMENDATION: Sign Resolution implementing the burn ban
ATTACHMENTS: Resolution to implement the burn ban
