Action Requested:
Request the Board to approve the Purchase Quote and sign the OpenGov Software
Services Agreement
Background:
On May 17, 2018, the Board of County Commissioners participated in a demonstration of the
OpenGov software as presented by Judy Pless, Budget and Finance Manager along with a white
paper justifying the software.
At this time the Board stated they would like to have additional time to review the documents as
presented and to schedule a meeting in a few weeks.
On June 4, 2018, during the Department Heads meeting, the Board stated they were in favor of
the software purchase for the Auditor’s office and to procced with the contract reviews and place
on the next agenda session.
The software is being purchase from SHI which is on the State of Washington Enterprise
Department Contracts listing, resulting in the County not having to solicit additional bids
There are three documents for this proposal
Software Quote from SHI in the amount of $339,430 a 5 year Quote
NASPO ValuePoint - Cloud Solutions Contract Number AR2472
Payment terms are annual- the annual fee, after year 1 = $ 60,112 and cost
Yr 1 = $ 98,982

Recommendation
Recommend the Board approve Purchase Quote and sign the OpenGov Software
Services Agreement
