TO AUTHORIZE THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO AUTHORIZE A NOTICE
OF CALL FOR BIDS FOR THE MAN AST ASH ROAD BRIDGE #76132
REPLACEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS: The bridge on Manastash Road over the South Fork of Manastash Creek
(#76131) is in need of replacement due to deteriorating superstructure and
foundations threatened by scour; and
WHEREAS: The plans and specifications for the Manastash Road Bridge #76132
Replacement are complete ; and
WHEREAS: The Department of Public Works rec e ived Local Bridge Program Federal
Funding (BRAC) as well as Rural A1terial Program (RAP) funding for this
project; and
WHEREAS: This Construction Project is included on the Six Yem· Transportation
Improvement Plan and the Annual Construction Plan ; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best
interest of the public, does hereby direct the Director of Public Works to prepare
a Notice to Contractors for a call for bids.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that bids will be received until 10:00 am on Wednesday, June
6, 2018 at the office of the Department of Public Works , 411 North Ruby Street,
Suite 1, Ellensburg, Washington, to be publicly read aloud after 10 :00 am on
Wednesday, June 6, 2018 , in the Department of Public Works , Ellensburg,
Washington.
