BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2018-07.3: <br />TO AUTHORIZE THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO AUTHORIZE A <br />NOTICE OF CALL FOR BIDS FOR THE NUMBER 6 ROAD BRIDGE #79051 <br />REPLACEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS: The bridge on Number 6 Road over Town Ditch is in need of replacement <br />due to deteriorating substructure and substandard width; and <br />WHEREAS: The plans and specifications for the Number 6 Road Bridge #79051 <br />Replacement are complete; and <br />WHEREAS: The Department of Public Works received Rural Arterial Program funding <br />from the County Road Administration Board for this project; and <br />WHEREAS: This Construction Project is included on the Six Year Transportation <br />Improvement Plan and the Annual Construction Plan; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in <br />the best interest of the public, does hereby direct the Director of Public <br />Works to prepare a Notice to Contractors for a call for bids. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that bids will be received until 10:00 am on Friday, <br />May 25, 2018 at the office of the Department of Public Works, 411 North <br />Ruby Street, Suite 1, Ellensburg, Washington, to be publicly read aloud <br />after 10:00 am on Friday, May 25 , 2018 , in the Department of Public <br />Works, Ellensburg, Washington. <br />DATED on this 1st day of May, 2018, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />1111 ~''1' r ,o f th · Bo ard-Julie Kjorsvik <br />~''' ~frJNTY C '1 <br />,,1 ,5!
