Home My WebLink AboutRes-2018-044 RockBOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF KITTITAS STATE OF WASHINGTON RESOLUTION RESOLUTION TO AWARD THE BID TO FURNISH ROCK MATERIALS FOR ONE (1) CALENDAR YEAR FOLLOWING CONTRACT EXECUTION AND AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO SIGN CONTRACT DOCUMENTS WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was approved and signed on February 6, 2018, to furnish Rock Materials for 2018; and WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on February 22,2018, at 10:00 a.m. in the Kittitas County Public Works and one (1) bid was received; and WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of Ellensburg Cement Products, Inc. be accepted for Schedules "A", "B" and "C" for Rock Materials for one (1) calendar year following contract execution; and NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best interest of the public, does hereby award the bid for 2018 Rock Materials to Ellensburg Cement Products, Inc. for Schedules "A", "B", and "C", upon such terms and conditions as specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s). BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is authorized to sign the contract documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s).
