RESOLUTION
NO. 2018 -6t/-'3
TO AWARD THE BID TO FURNISH CRACK SEALANT MATERIALS FOR 2018
WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was approved and signed on February 6, 2018, to
furnish Crack Sealant Materials for 2018; and
WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on February 22,2018, at 2:00 p.m. in the Kittitas County
Public Works Office, and two (2) bids were received; and
WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of Special
Asphalt Products for Schedule "A" and Schedule "B" be accepted; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the
best interest of the public, does hereby award the bid for 2018 Crack Sealant Materials to Special
Asphalt Products for Schedule "A" and Schedule "B", and be accepted, upon such terms and
conditions as specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is authorized to sign the
contract documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said
bidder(s).
