BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2018-0 t/-:A <br />TO AWARD THE BID TO FURNISH LIQUID ASPHALT MATERIALS FOR 2018 <br />WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was approved and signed on February 6, 2018, to <br />furnish Liquid Asphalt Materials for 2018; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on February 22,2018, at 2:00 p.m. in the Kittitas County <br />Public Works Office, and one (1) bid was received; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of Western <br />States Asphalt, Inc. for Schedule "A" and for Schedule "B" be accepted; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby award the bid for 2018 Liquid Asphalt Materials to <br />Western States Asphalt, Inc. for Schedule "A" and for Schedule "B", upon such terms and <br />conditions as specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s). <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is authorized to sign the <br />contract documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said <br />bidder(s). <br />DATED this 6th day of March, 2018, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />ABSENT <br />Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />or
