BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2017 -/ qla <br />TO APPROVE THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON PROJECT AGREEMENT <br />#1917-01 FOR RURAL ARTERIAL TRUST ACCOUNT FUNDS FROM THE <br />COUNTY ROAD ADMINISTRATION BOARD FOR THE MANASTASH ROAD <br />BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS: The Manastash Road Bridge project will replace the deteriorated bridge <br />over Manastash Creek at MP 10.60. This bridge is currently load <br />restricted and is the only access in and out for many residents and <br />commercial operations ; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works submitted a Project Prospectus requesting Rural Arterial <br />Program funds from the County Road Administration Board (CRAB) for <br />the replacement of said bridge in the amount of $1 ,95 8,000; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works was notified by CRAB on August 17,2017 that the design <br />funding necessary for the project had been awarded in the amount of <br />$315,480; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in <br />the best interest of the public, does hereby approve the Chair's signature <br />on Project Agreement #1917-01 for Rural Arterial Trust Account Funds <br />from the County Road Administration Board for the Manastash Road <br />Bridge Replacement Project. <br />DATED on this 5th day of September, 2017, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KrnF S COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />( <br />Obie O'Brien, Commissioner
