RESOLUTION NO. 2017 -i 2>~
TITLE: Ratify the Vice Chair's Signature on Contract Amendment Documents with BERK and
Payment Voucher for Outstanding Balance Due
WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners authorized a Professional Services Contract
with BERK (Resolution 2015-124) supporting population forecasts used to create
comprehensive plan documents; and
WHEREAS: During execution of the approved scope of work staff identified the need to
expand services in the amount of $4,965 .00; and
WHEREAS: Payment of the requested additional work was partially paid without a contract
amendment and $1,085.00 is overdue for payment; and
WHEREAS: The Vice Chair did authorize the necessary contract amendment and payment
voucher on July 21,2017;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best
interest of the public, does hereby ratify the Vice Chair's signature on BERK contract
amendment documents and payment voucher for outstanding remaining balance on July 21,
2017 .
