DEPARTMENT OF <br />ECOLOGY <br />State of Washington <br />AMENDMENT NO.1 <br />TO <br />CONTRACT C1600097 <br />BETWEEN THE <br />STA TE OF WASHINGTON DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY <br />AND <br />KITTITAS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />PURPOSE: To amend the Agreement between the state of Washington, Department of Ecology, hereinafter <br />referred to as "ECOLOGY," and Kittitas County Board of Commissioners, hereinafter <br />referred to as "KITTITAS." <br />IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED the Agreement is amended as follows: <br />1) The Period of Performance is amended to read as follows: The period of performance is extended <br />from June 30, 2017 to June 30, 2018. <br />2) The Budget is amended to read as follows: Total compensation is increased by $250,000.00 from <br />$500,000.00 to a new contract value of$750,000.00. <br />3) The Scope of Work is amended to read as follows: <br />Task 1: Purchase Mitigation Water and Metering Equipment <br />1.1 Purchase pre-1905 senior water rights for mitigation water that will be used for new and <br />current domestic uses of groundwater. KITTITAS will consult with Ecology for approval on <br />costs before entering into any purchase and sale agreement under this agreement. Failing to <br />comply with this requirement to consult with ECOLOGY will result in a denial of the <br />reimbursement request under this agreement. <br />Deliverables: <br />Status report of water acquired, due December 31,2017. <br />Water purchase and sale agreements, due June 30, 2018. <br />4) The Ecology Representative for your agreement is changed to Kelsey Collins (509) 575-2640, <br />kelsey.colIins@ecy.wa.gov .
