STATE OF WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO. 2017 -/ CJ 1:
TO AUTHORIZE THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO AUTHORIZE A
NOTICE OF CALL FOR BIDS FOR THE HUNTZINGER ROAD SAFETY
IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
WHEREAS: The plans and specifications for the Huntzinger Road Safety
Improvements Project are complete; and
WHEREAS: The Department of Public Works received Highway Safety Improvement
Program funding from Federal funding sources administered through
Local Programs of Washington State Department of Transportation; and
WHEREAS: This Construction Project is included on the Six Year Transportation
Improvement Plan and the Annual Construction Plan; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in
the best interest of the public, does hereby direct the Director of Public
Works to prepare a Notice of Contractors for a call for bids.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that bids will be received until 10:00 am on Friday July
14,2017 at the office of the Department of Public Works, 411 North Ruby
Street, Suite 1, Ellensburg, Washington, to be publicly read aloud after
10:00 am on Friday, July 14,2017, in the Department of Public Works,
Ellensburg, Washington.
