RESOLUTION NO. 2017-Qg 0-
RESOLUTION TO REJECT ALL BIDS
WHEREAS: Kittitas County sought bids for a contractor to provide services to remove
11 (eleven) County owned Mobile homes from Shady Brook Mobile home park; and
WHEREAS: Kittitas County received three bids for the removal of the mobile homes;
and
WHEREAS: The level ofInsurance requirements were omitted from the bid documents;
and
WHEREAS: The amounts of Insurance required by the County for this type of project
may be higher than some Contractors' standard liability, auto, and products/completed
operations, and other types of coverage; and
WHEREAS: The nature and extent of the project has in fact changed substantially in
that a total of 22 (twenty-two) are now to be removed; and
WHEREAS: The insurance requirements and any changes in circumstances will be
included in the next bid announcement to ensure that those interested in submitting a bid
are fully aware of the requirements prior to bidding;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the bids submitted for the Request
for Proposals dated March 7, 2017 and opened on March 27, 2017 are hereby rejected.
