BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2017 -tJ 10 <br />TO RATIFY THE CHAIRMAN'S SIGNATURE ON THE WASHINGTON STATE <br />DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (WSDOT) REIMBURSABLE <br />AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT SERVICES <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works periodically requires certain work <br />performed on their construction projects, such as material testing, <br />inspection, surveying, and other construction related support; and <br />WHEREAS: WSDOT has the necessary expertise, equipment and time to perform the <br />work to occasionally supplement the needs of the County; and <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County agrees to reimburse WSDOT for the actual direct and <br />indirect costs associated with the work including WSDOT's administrative <br />cost rate as services are requested, agreed upon, and provided; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works staff secured the Chairman's signature on the Reimbursable <br />Agreement on May 9th, 2017; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in <br />the best interest of the public, does hereby ratify the Chairman's signature <br />on the WSDOT Reimbursable Agreement for construction support <br />servIces. <br />DATED on this 16th day of May, 2017, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />Attest: <br />~C lerk of the Board-Julie Kjorsvik <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KI ITA ' COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />au I ewell, Chairman <br />~ V ice -<;h ainn an <br />~&tXL--Obi O'Bnen, Commissioner
