TITLE: RATIFICATION OF THE CHAIR'S SIGNATURE ON RECREATION CONSERVATION
OFFICE PROJECT #16-1860C
WHEREAS : The Board of County Commissioners directed staff amend the existing
Recreation and Conservation Grant "Ringer Loop Acquisitions and Design" in
late 2016 (RCO Project Number 16-1860C); and
WHEREAS : Recreation and Conservation Office project staff desired Board authorization of
the amended project agreement in late February 2017; and
WHEREAS: The Chair of the Board was available to sign the amended project agreement on
March 1, 2017 ;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best
interest of the public, does hereby ratify the Chairs signature on Recreation Conservation Office
Project Agreement 16-1860C.

to change t he project scope and reduce funding . This project is amended to remo.ve fee simple and conservation
easemen t acquisition of the Stroh properties, add ac quisiti on of the Sta lder/Sparks property (this was prev iously
just an assessment of va lUe). and rem ove preliminary des igns and permits for a habitat restoration project 011 the
Stroh properties (s l n~e they will no longer be acquired). The to tal compen sati on is decreased by $ 500,000 from
$988,452 to $4 8 8 ,452 . The project f,tle will be re vised in a separate amendment.
