BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO . <br />RESOLUTION TO AWARD THE BID TO FURNISH MAINTENANCE ROCK <br />MATERIALS FOR ONE (1) CALENDAR YEAR FOLLOWING CONTRACT <br />EXECUTION AND AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO SIGN <br />CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br />WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was approved and signed on February 7,2017, to <br />furnish Maintenance Rock Materials for 2017; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on February 23, 2017,at 2:00 p.m . in the Kittitas <br />County Public Works and two (2) bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS : The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of <br />Ellensburg Cement Products AND Granite Construction Company be accepted <br />for Schedules "A", "B" and "C" for Maintenance Rock Materials for one (1) <br />calendar year following contract execution; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best <br />interest of the public, does hereby award the bid for 2017 Maintenance Rock Materials to <br />Ellensburg Cement Products AND Granite Construction Company for Schedules "A", "B", and <br />"C", upon such terms and conditions as specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s). <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is authorized to sign the <br />contract documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said <br />bidder(s). <br />DATED this 7th day of March, 2017, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITI OUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />siadacz, Vice-Chairman <br />tUie4r~ <br />Obie O'Brien, Commissioner
