BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTIT AS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO.: 2017-062. <br />TO RATIFY KITTITAS VALLEY EVENT CENTER RENTAL AND USE FEE SCHEDULE <br />WHEREAS : The Director of the Kittitas Valley Event Center has the authority to establish the <br />various rates, discounts, packages, policies, and procedures governing the use of the <br />Kittitas Valley Event Center, and <br />WHEREAS: the people of Kittitas County benefit by having available to them a published rate <br />structure for the use of certain facilities located at the Kittitas Valley Event Center <br />and, <br />WHEREAS: the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners has the authority to establish or <br />affirm such rate structures by resolution and, <br />WHEREAS: a rate structure that is established by resolution protects the public from preferential <br />or arbitrary pricing, <br />WHEREAS: a rate /fee structure is currently in place for the Kittitas Valley Event <br />Center, <br />WHEREAS: standard, discounted, and packaged rates listed in Exhibit "A" will be affirmed as <br />the Kittitas Valley Event Center Rental and Use Rates, Packages and Discounts <br />Fee Schedule, <br />WHEREAS: a Public Hearing has been held on December 20, 2016 to receive public comment; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOL VED: That the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners <br />affirms and approves ratifying the attached rate/fee schedule (Exhibit "A") as proposed by the <br />Director of the Kittitas Valley Event Center. <br />AND BE IT FURTER RESOLVED that Two and one half percent (2 112%) from each rental fee received <br />shall be placed into a reserve fund for building and maintenance at the Event Center. <br />ADOPTED th;s f?r1 .y of .~<~O 17 .
